Cancellation Policy:
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give me 24-hours notice, you will be charged 50% of your appointment cost for the first instance, for all subsequent instances you will be charged the full rate of the scheduled session. Exceptions will be made in cases of sudden illness or emergency. Emergencies and illness will be assessed on an individual basis.
No-Show Policy:
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment without notice for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full amount for their missed appointment.
Late Arrival Policy:
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session cost. Out of respect and consideration for myself and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Payment, Insurance + Gratuity Policy:
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, Venmo, and credit/debit cards only. If paying with a credit card, the card on file will be charged at the time of services rendered. Currently, I do not bill to health/medical insurance. I am happy to provide an invoice/super bill should you wish to submit the bill to your insurance company for reimbursement on your own behalf. Gratuity is never expected, clients are encouraged to use their discretion.
Massage of Minors Policy:
Any person under the age of 18 must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian prior to receiving massage. Clients under 16 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present during the entirety of all sessions.
Sexual Harassment + Solicitation Policy:
Any form of solicitation, sexual advancement, or harassment will not be tolerated and will lead to an immediate termination of services and ultimately, a permanent termination of the therapeutic relationship.
